My Cat Saw Something That I Couldn't!
On November 14, 2007, between 10 and 10:45 PM, I was lying on my bed with one of my black cats when he suddenly stood up and stared into the hallway leading to my bedroom. He jumped off the bed and refused to go into the hall. Instead, he scooted between my room and the living room, gazing intently into the hall at a spot in front of the linen closet where I keep my bed linen and spare towels. I went into the hall, looked at the space in front of the closet, and saw absolutely nothing. I felt absolutely nothing either. Then I remembered my disposable digital camera. I quickly got it and snapped a picture of the area in front of the closet. Just as the flash went off, I saw what looked like two white orbs through my camera's view-finder. It was not the light reflecting off my glasses because that never happens when I use a flash camera. There were no bugs in the hallway, and these orbs were too close and too big to be either dust particles or precipitation; in fact, one orb was a bit smaller than the other. I haven't used up the rest of the shots in my camera, but when I do, I will take it to my local drugstore's camera drop-off to have the pictures developed, and I will leave explicit orders for them to not throw any picture away. I want to see if those two orbs show up in the snapshot I took of them. I'm willing to bet that they do.

I have to use up the rest of the shots in the camera first. But I'll definitely let you know if I get those orbs. And I think I will! :D I should say this isn't the first time I've experienced something of this nature. And this isn't the first time my cats have alerted me about something invisible that only they can see. However, this is the first time I was able to move quickly enough with the camera. :)

okay, everyone who has been to my house strongly believes that it is hunted by spirits from the jaiijii board that my friend brought to my house way back in the sixth grade. I believe this, but who knows... the whole things started when my friend Dolliyah spent the night over my house. before she came over I told my sister and her friend who was staying the night that Dolliyah had a jaiijii board and we had played with it at her house and at school. My sister friend Denice was against me playing with the board because she had had bad experiences with them in the past. However I was 12 at the time I thought she was trying to scare me. Anyway I told her I didn't believe her and I told me that my friend didn't either. And she told me to tell my friend to bring the jaiijii board over. She wanted to scare me and my friend from using the board. However, we all ended up getting freaked out at the end of the night. That night weird stuff happened. The weird thing was when we set up the board and started using it. My sister friend did a chant to open the gate to the spirit world. After she did that I felt like something was starring at me from behind, and my sister kept looking directly behind me like something was there. But there was nothing there. After a while of asking the board questions I got a spooked and left the three in the room by themselves. ten minutes later my friend came out. At first she was okay, and then she started rocking herself and crying. She couldn't explain why she was feeling so sad but she was. My sister friend was asking the board question about her birth parents, who they were and what happened to them. They brought the board into the kitchen and they started asking it questions in there and my mom starting joining in and asking it questions about what really happened to one of her cousins (how she really died). Then my sister friend tried to invoke the spirit into her body and that's when thing got strange. I to this day still don't believe she did this.. but she says she did but I think she was jiving us all! Anywho, after all of that my friend and I found it hard to get to sleep that night. I kept feeling like something was watching me. This went on for weeks. I would hear thing in the living room, like scuffing on the carpet and someone walking back and forth up and down my hallway. Sometimes I would hear things in the kitchen too. This went one for over a month. The only thing that was shocking startling was the day my sister was sitting on the couch in the play room, talking to her first boyfriend. She was just chilling, when the side of the couch where there were two big box on lifted up and was dropped back down. My sister was up and out of that room soo quick, it was not funny. I remember there was one time was home alone sick. I started hearing the foot scuffing and freaked out when I heard come into my friend. I screamed and my parents came rushing into the house because they thought I was being killed. There were other creepy things. Like at night when I would sleep this weird thing would happen. When my body would get numb, and tingly. I could move, or open my eyes. I felt heavy. I felt something cold touch my lover abdomen, and when I lay down on my back I fell it on my lower back. It like something is touching me digging their nails in to me. It was the most uncomfortable feeling ever. I would try and scream out but i could my voice was too weak. Then I would feel like my body was lifting up to the ceiling. I mean my legs would go up and I would feel the roughness of my ceiling. Sometimes would feel the wall. I remember one night my mom told me that I got up went into her room and asked her a question. I really pissed her off because she couldn't make out what I was saying, but it was something about my sister's prom pictures. she told me that I got quiet and I stood there for a few minutes then turned around went back to bed. I was never known for sleep walking or talking. If anything that something my sister did. I only did that a few times then after junior high it stopped. anywho, I still hear things to this day but I don't get those weird experiences anymore.

Well, Lei, that's quite a story! :shock: There's a good lesson to be learned from this, and it's called "never use a spirit board". It sounds like your friend did not know what she was doing, and Denice was absolutely right to object to it even being brought into your house. A great many psychics and ghost hunters strongly advise against using a spirit board (also known as "talking boards" or "Ouija boards") because you never know what will come through the portal you can open with it. Your mother should have known better than to involve herself. And your friend actually invited this thing to come inside her? That is known as spirit possession, only the most dangerous thing anyone can ask for. Once a spirit takes hold of a person's body, it can be hard to get it to leave if it decides it doesn't want to. :twisted: I had an aquaintance who played around with a spirit board with her friends when she was 15, and she lived to regret it when the lights in her house started going on and off by themselves. It kept up even after she had her child. The scariest incident there was that the thing actually grabbed her little boy by the arm, and she had to move him to another room for his safety. They had the house blessed except for the room where all this was going on, and the blessing failed to drive out the entity. For all I know, it's still there to this day, doing who knows what. :shock: I have a great many books on ghosts, both fictional works and real-life cases. One of them has a little spirit board, but I never, ever, ever use it for the reasons I stated above. The two entities that my cat saw back on November 14th were not summoned by a spirit board; I believe they were responding to a tremendous amount of emotional and electromagnetic energy that been raised in the ether by different things. :shock:

you know something else creepy, that year my cat hada littler of five. And we let them in the Play room on day... well we always did that because we loved to play with them in there. Anywho the first day they got spoked and didn't want to come into the play room. The seconded time they came in and played, but one started acting funny, they it was rubbing up against someone who wasn't there and was being patted by someone who was not there. after that the cat's very scared a of a certain corner in the room. yeah I believe cat's and other animals are very sensitive to ghosts.

Is the playroom where your friend conducted her "seance" with the spirit board? If you still hear unexplained sounds, do they come from that room? Do you still have cats, and if you do, do they still act like they can see something that you can't? :o If you now have a dog, don't be surprised if it starts acting like it can see something invisible. Dogs are also known for being sensitive to spirits. So are horses. :shock:

we did the chant in that room. I don't hear sounds in there anymore. They are more heard in the house. The Playroom has long since been stripped and turned back into a grudge. I have 3 cats now. None of them are the same one I had back in the sixth grade. The kittens grew up and left and the female died. My new cats react to the prences of the what ever in is my house all the time. I don't have a dog sadly.

Good for your cats, Lei. Always watch them; their actions never lie. If something unseen is there, it's there. :D It looks like the Invisibles were chased out into the remaining rooms when your playroom became a garage. That's how I see it. As long as they're just "putting in an appearance" and not menacing you in any way, I think you'll be fine. If they get a little too noisy, you might try burning an incense that's meant to calm restless spirits, or you can try a smudge stick. Any New Age store should carry such items. If that doesn't work, there's always holy water. :)

meh, they don't do much anymore. We've all learned to deal with them. But I have been having some weird dreams... it's creepy...

Oh, weird dreams? What kind of dreams, hun? How are they weird?

I get a lot of dreams lately where I would be sitting in the living room talking with my mom. Then the the door bell would ring and I would get up and open the door and either a man or women would walk in. The woman would walk in and right when she get to my couch she would turn around and smiled at me. Her smile would creep the crap out of me and I would wake up. The guy however, he would either stand in the door frame or just walk in. Either way, I would wake up scared. I don't know what to make of it.

I take it you don't recognize either the man or the woman. Do you remember what they look like? You say the woman gives you a smile that frightens you. Is it a menacing smile or simply an eerie one? You also said the mysterious sounds are no longer in the ex-playroom but in other parts of the house. Is the living room one of these places? If it is, then there might a connection between your dreams and the sounds. :? There may be another possibility at work here. Are you an intuitive person, Lei? What I mean is that did you ever, and is so, do you still, get feelings and flashes about people and places that are later confirmed? Have you ever felt something was going happen and it did? Were you possibly sensitive to spirit presences long before the incident with the spirit board? More to the point here, have you ever had a dream or a series of dreams that came true? :? I'm asking you this because I don't brush this stuff off now. I take it very seriously, my own experiences or somebody else's, so let's see if we can get to the bottom of this latest experience of yours. :)
