Guitar Hero Rocks the 80's
Well this is currently #1 on my favorite games list . . . You use a guitar controller to play along with various songs from the 80's . . and these are the songs you get to play. And there are a cast of characters dressed all dressed in 80's clothing (Johnny Napalm, Judy Nails, Izzy Sparks, Pandora, Axel Steel, and Grim Ripper). My favorite character is the Grim Ripper, he plays with a scythe . . . Tier 1 - Opening Licks 1. "Metal Health (Bang Your Head)" - Quiet Riot 2. "We Got the Beat" - The Go-Go's 3. "I Ran (So Far Away)" - A Flock of Seagulls 4. "Balls to the Wall" - Accept 5. "18 and Life" - Skid Row Tier 2 - Amp Warmers 1."No One Like You" - Scorpions 2. "Shakin'" - Eddie Money 3. "Heat of the Moment" - Asia 4. "Radar Love" - White Lion 5. "Because, It's Midnite" - Limozeen Tier 3 - String Snappers 1. "Holy Diver" - Dio 2. "Turning Japanese" - The Vapors 3. "Hold on Loosely" - .38 Special 4. "The Warrior" - Scandal 5. "I Wanna Rock" - Twisted Sister Tier 4 - Return of the Shred 1. "What I Like About You" - The Romantics 2. "Synchronicity II" - The Police 3. "Ballroom Blitz" - Krokus 4. "Only a Lad" - Oingo Boingo 5. "Round and Round" - Ratt Tier 5 - Relentless Riffs 1. "Nothin' But a Good Time" - Poison 2. "Play With Me" - Extreme The general consensus is that the songs in Tiers 4, 5 and 6 are more challenging to play then the songs in Tiers 1, 2 and 3. And the overall toughest song in this game is "Play with Me" . . (although as Koko and I have discussed before . . "Los Angeles" is also challenging to play). My personal favorite songs to play are "Round and Round", "Nothing But a Good Time" and "I Wanna Rock". The key here is to practice as much as you can, and be used to shifting your fingers around a lot on Hard and Expert mode (because the orange fret button is used). Really good game :)
